THE LOST COMPANION RECEIVES GRANT FROM THE DR. JANE FOUNDATION WildRose, WI. (March 2021) – The Lost Companion(TLC) is pleased to announce it received a $2,925 grant from The Dr. Jane Foundation, the charitable arm of Life’s Abundance, Inc. The funds will support spay/neuter and health care for feral cats in Waushara County. TLC is a feral cat management organization and foster care center located in Saxeville, WI, whose missions is to manage the health, population,and quality of life for feral cats in Waushara County, Wisconsin. TLC had to cancel their major fund raising event in the fall of 2020 due to COVID restrictions, and had increased rescues with hording situations and lack of healthcare over the past year. The grant will greatly benefit our community over the coming months with kitten season upon us.The Dr. Jane Foundation awards grants quarterly through a competitive application and review process. Life’s Abundance is an organization committed to supporting a variety of animal rescue groups, all of which are dedicated to helping rescue neglected and unwanted animals, and to further the bond between people and pets. The Dr. Jane Foundation is funded by a portion of every purchase of Life’s Abundance product sales, as well as through individual donations. Operating solely through the efforts of a dedicated volunteer board of directors, nearly 100% of the foundations’ funds go toward grants.
